The region of Basilicata is rich with important historical and archaeological sites, attractions, towns and villages, and of course, wonderful beaches to explore on your holiday in southern Italy. There are also many activities on offer for the more adventurous traveller – from exploring the beautiful National Parks, diving on the Tyrrhenian coast and even ‘flying’ on the world’s fastest zipwire in the Lucanian Dolomites!
